Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most misunderstood disorders among children. A child with ADHD is characterized by restlessness, impulsive behaviors, easily distracted and in extreme cases, aggressive. The constant flurry of activity may be bothersome and sometimes even try out other parents’ patience, but several studies have suggested that stopping the movement is NOT the answer. Instead, these studies show evidence that exercise and movement can help children with ADHD improve attention, sharpen social skills, and learn more effectively.
Help your child cope, enhance their ability to learn and to focus with structured movements that are provided by the Sensorii™ Swing.
Hyperactivity among children is a way for them to compensate for under-activity in some brain regions. The region of the brain that processes movement is the same region that processes thought, thus constant physical movement stimulates brain cells activity which in turn works to improve focus and alertness.
Bringing your child outdoor to play and run around is always the best option for exercise and movement but is not always practical, especially with an ADHD child.
The Sensorii™ Swing will help keep them occupied and active. It stimulates their thought processes and gives them the freedom to be constantly moving, safely whilst indoors.
The Sensorii™ Swing is a fun, safe, portable solution that can provide structured movements for kids suffering from ADHD. It is made from premium-grade stretchable polyester-lycra blended fabric that’s extremely durable yet absolutely soft, warm and breathable.
This hanging hideaway is not only comfortable with its cocoon-like space but is also super fun for simply swinging around!
Everything you need to set it up is already included. Install indoors on structurally sound beams or on a strong tree branch and let the fun begin!
The Sensorii™ Swing and all included hardware have been tested and CPSC accredited, guaranteed to meet safety standards for physical and mechanical hazards, load bearing and weight capacity.
Our son has ADHD. He’s constantly moving and nothing calms him during a meltdown quite like swinging… so we put this up in his bedroom and he absolutely LOVES it. He has told us several times how amazing it is. He’s already spent hours in it. He was on the verge of a meltdown last night, caught himself before it started and told us he needed to go use his new swing to calm down. We couldn’t be happier! The fabric is so soft and stretchy, and the hardware is very sturdy.

Bought for my 9 yr old 50 lbs daughter with sensory needs. She uses this every single day and spends the majority of her time in it, including sleeping in it many nights. She’ll swing, do gymnastic flips and twirls, spin, and then sometimes just suspend her body and lean out one end while she colors on the floor. The fabric is soft and not slippery, and has sprung back to tightness when washed without getting misshapen at all. We had the “pod” style swing previously but this has been much more usable and fun for her. The pressure is good and fabric texture (which is oh SO important!) is sensitive kid approved.

We bought this for our neurotypical daughter’s 2nd birthday. Very appropriate timing as COVID-19 isolation measures meant the closure of all our local playgrounds. It’s a lovely swing that will give her years of enjoyment. We’ve had it for some time and it’s used almost daily. It was very easy to set up. Our daughter is too little to get in or out on her own so it’s used with direct adult help for now. What we’ve discovered is that when she is having a two-year-old burst of overwhelming emotions, a little time in this swing calms her down like magic. It’s like it gives her a reassuring hug.
